Course contents

What is it?

The course covers fundamental climate change science and its impacts, including understanding greenhouse gases and global warming, how climate change affects local and global environments, and the social justice issues linked to climate inequality.

It empowers learners to take meaningful action by creating personal and collective plans to reduce carbon footprints. It explores current local, national, and international climate responses, inspiring motivation to influence others and support broader climate action.

The learning is designed to be practical, positive, and relevant to participants’ everyday contexts, aiming to certify individuals as Carbon Literate with the ability and motivation to drive change in their communities and workplaces.

The Carbon Literacy Project

Please note that this online course does not lead to certification with the Carbon Literacy Project. While it covers similar content, it's being provided to give you insight into the Carbon Literacy course that can be delivered in-house within your organisation, or through a tailored on-line programme.
