We take online payments. If you want an invoice, please email riolearn@rio.ai and we will get one raised for you and the course(s) added to your account manually.

The individual course price shown does not include VAT. When you add courses to the shopping cart, VAT is calculated and added at check-out when you submit your address/location details. All purchases receive an invoice showing the course fees and the VAT amount.

We do provide discounts and offers, and these get communicated to our learners when available. If you are looking to purchase multiple courses or roll out courses to multiple learners in your organisation, please email riolearn@rio.ai and we will see what can be offered.

Lots of our courses have unlimited access. Courses accredited with ISEP, and those that are paid, usually have a limited access time of 6 to 12 months. If you run out of time, we can increase it.

Yes. All of our courses are accredited with CPD UK for Continuing Professional Development. ISEP (formally IEMA) accredit courses in their name and they also approve some of our own. We also work with the Energy Institute and the Future Water Association.

Only the paid courses have digital badges. Free courses have downloadable certificates.

Most courses are updated when there are external changes that could affect them (e.g. legislation updates). Other courses, such as those accredited with ISEP, get periodic updates.

We try to ensure courses have a long shelf life and get updated when required. That said, we have a large and expanding library of content, so sometimes things get missed. If you spot anything that requires our attention, please send an email to riolearn@rio.ai and we will look at the update required. Thank you.

Each course has a short evaluation survey that can be completed. Your feedback is important to us. Alternatively, you can email riolearn@rio.ai with any specific feedback.

Yes. Our platform can host a range of online training and other content. Email riolearn@rio.ai if you are interested in utilising the platform within your organisation. It will be much cheaper and quicker to set up than implementing your own learning management system (LMS).

The affiliate program works by giving affiliates a unique link to promote Rio Learn's courses. Affiliates earn 20% commission for every paid course or programme sold through their link.

We have been developing learning for 12+ years, so some of our earlier courses may still show our old company name or brand. It's still us, but with a historic name.
