What is it?

Sustainability Skills for the Workforce encompass the knowledge, abilities, and attitudes required to support and promote environmentally responsible and resource-efficient practices across all job roles.

These skills include understanding environmental risks, legal compliance, resource efficiency, pollution prevention, and the ability to implement practical changes that reduce an organisation’s environmental impact.

Workforce sustainability skills empower employees to contribute to their organisation’s sustainability goals, improve operational efficiency, and adapt to the increasing demand for green practices driven by climate change and regulatory pressure.
