This course is an entry-level training designed to provide individuals from any job role or sector with a clear, practical understanding of what net zero means and why it is critical in responding to the climate crisis.

The course covers the fundamentals of net zero, the urgency highlighted by current climate science, international and UK policy contexts, and the business and environmental benefits of pursuing net zero goals.

It also introduces robust frameworks for organisational action and explains how to communicate net zero ambitions credibly and avoid greenwashing. Completing this course raises awareness and gives participants confidence in discussing net zero and supporting their organisation’s sustainability ambitions, making it a valuable tool for companies embarking on their journeys toward decarbonisation and climate leadership.
